Well, it is Fall in Oklahoma and I am in Love with this weather. One of the things that comes with Fall is Football and Football is a huge part of our life. Ian has been coaching for 4 years and absolutely loves every minute of it. He is really good at it too! The freshman and JV have finished their season and did pretty well. My brother Connor played on JV this year and even got a few shots at Varsity. The Varsity team has only lost one game and this Friday night they play Jenks, one of the top teams in the state. Everyone is pretty excited, especially if you are a member of my football playing, watching, eating, sleeping family. I love it! Here are a few pictures of the season.

Chad helped coach a Middle School Team this year too! He did a great job! It was fun to see him do something he loved! He is in the middle of the guys on the sideline with the yellow shirt! Go Cougars!

So, I am really really bad at this blogging thing!!! Things have been crazy for our little family! I am still working and Ian is still in School! He graduates this May and will be a teacher. He is so amazing and is so excited to get his classroom and get to work! He is coaching football again this fall and loves every moment of that! It is so fun to watch him in his element!

My little, or not so little brother got his mission call Yesturday. He is going to the Leon, Mexico mission. We are so excited for him and we know he will be a wonderful missionary and will love the people he serves. Other than that, nothing new to report! Getting a little older, and hopefully a little wiser! Thanks for checking on our blog, even though we never update it! We love you all and hopefully we will blog again soon!!!

Today is our 3rd wedding anniversary. Feels longer, only because we have known each other for way longer than 3 years:). These past years have really been the best years of my life. I know people say that all the time, but I really mean it. We have had a ton of ups and downs and sometimes there have been a few more downs than ups but I always knew it would be okay because we have each other and such amazing families. My papa once said, you think now that you love Ian, wait a few years! He was so right! Just as soon as I think I couldn't love him anymore than I already do, I somehow do! Here's to 3 great years with eternity to go! (I hope he doesn't get sick of me!:) I love you babe, thanks for everything you do. Everyone thinks they have the best husband too,but I truly truly do!

This past weekend, we got the sad news that Ian's 93 year-old grandma has passed away. So, we headed out to Saint George, Utah for the funeral and to be with family. Despite the unpleasant circumstances, I was very excited to meet the rest of the Dewey side of the family. They did not disappoint. They were wonderful, funny and fun, just like I expected. We made the long drive to Saint George and stopped by Zion's National Park. It was so beautiful. I had never been there before. While there we were able to see a great friend and spend some time with her and her cute family.

Saturday morning was the funeral and all week I had been learning about this wonderful lady, Grandma Dewey. I had only met her once when Ian and I were just friends, so it was great to learn so much about her. The funeral was beautiful! Perfect! A wonderful memorial to wonderful lady. Sitting in the chapel, learning more of this wonderful family I am blessed to be apart of, I have never been more proud to be a Sister Dewey!

While I am on a roll, I graduated this May and am pretty proud of it. I still can't believe I don't have to go to class, but it's true! I finally finished!

After we go home from the cruise, I celebrated my 24th birthday which was amazing, full of friends and family. My mom made this huge sign that she made me wear around my neck all day. It said Queen for a day and they made me wear this tiara, even in the mall (thanks again Shan for that!) These pics turned out pretty cute those so I though I would post them. My Grammy and my GG came down for the fun too! Happy Birthday to me!

I am SOOOOO Sorry, I am really really bad at this blog thing. It's like trying to write in a journal, but you end up only writing about the good things and then realize that the bad and hard things are worth jotting down too! That's how we grow, I just don't see it that way when I am going through it. I always have heard of the trial of your faith, which sounds like an important thing, right, until I have to have the trials. No fun! However, no matter where I am in my life and the trials I have to endure, I am blessed beyond words! I have an amazing, wonderful husband, a family some only dream about, and friends that mean the world to me! A lot has happened before and after my first blog, first of all, we bought our very own house and I wish I could say loved every minute of remodeling it. I am pretty proud of myself though, here are a few pics of our new house!

Well, it's about time that I updated our blog. It has been way too long! With my last semester at OU, buying a house and all the crazy things that come with life, it's about time we shared! Recently, I returned from vacation with my mom, dad, sister and grammy. Despite the crazyness that comes with going on vacation with a million adults, and missing my hubby a ton, we had a good time. We were able to be at the blessing of a new member of the family and Mema and Happy had fun with the grand kids. We went to IKEA, one of my favorite stores and I bought 2 lamps and a big chandelier. My dad said I wouldn't be able to fit it all into my suit case. But, it's me. I made them fit and then some!!! I love the mountains and going on vacation and it is always good to be with family!!!

Since Ian and our friend Eric's birthday are only 2 days apart, we went to

the Red Pin for bowling and dinner. We had a good time, but we always do with the Choates!!! Happy Birthday Boys!

For Ian's birthday we all went out to dinner at the Lake. It was a bunch of fun to sit out on the dock and eat really good food and look at the lake. Ian never likes to make a big fuss for his birthday but we had a good time!!!

We had a fun filled day in Stratford, Oklahoma with the Choates.
We went to Little Niagra in Sulfer and played in the water. We then went to my Grammy's house and relaxed. We played in the acres of land behind the house and drove the four wheeler. It was great fun with our favorite company, the Choates.

We rcently took our BIG summer vacation and because I am in summer school it was only to DALLAS. Despite the fact that is was very close to home, we had a great time. It is nice to get away and just relax. I have tried to talk Ian into getting a massage before but he never went for it. He said "having a lady massage my back would be very weird, but having a guy touch my back would be even more weird." I finally got him to go and it was one of the funnier and wonderful things we have ever done together.
The Ladies that did our massages were small Asian ladies and they were very nice and they did a wonderful job but during the massage they needed Ian's bed to move which was pretty ackward. These little ladies grabbed the bed and slowly moved it across the room with Ian still on it. I was laughing so hard! We finally relaxed and it was great! We also did a lot of shopping and went to eat at the Rainforest Cafe. It is really neat there and the food is very good as well. We ended our meal with a sparkling chocolate volcan and it was soooooooooo good but we were so very very full .

We are very new to the whole "blog" thing, but we hope to keep it up and share our life with our friends and family.

Well, we have been married now for about a year and a half and it has been the most wonderful time of our life. We have been very blessed with new opportunities and advances in many different aspects of our life together. We love to laugh and find the humor in all things, including the bad. We are excited and we look forward to what the future brings. Talk to you later!
